Our Simple Safety Service ensures your bike is roadworthy and safe. The process includes:

  • Frame and Accessory Check: Thorough wipe-down, frame inspection, and secure mounting of accessories (lights, mudguards, etc.).

  • Brakes and Gears: Adjustment and inspection for smooth performance, with a focus on cables, housings, and wear.

  • Wheel and Drivetrain Assessment: Examination of tyres, bearings, spokes, rims, and drivetrain components like the chain and pedals for wear and proper fit.

  • Torque and Lubrication: Torque checks on critical bolts and lubrication of key parts, including brake calipers and axles.

  • Road Test and Report: A comprehensive road test followed by a report with maintenance advice and recommendations.

Analog and Electric bikes

Whether you've completed our Simple Safety Service or just need help with a specific issue, our Maintenance and Repair Service is here to keep your bike in sync with you. Perfect for addressing recommendations from your safety report or tackling a problem you can't fix yourself—whether you're away from your tools or just not 100% sure —we provide expert care at £35 per hour (parts not included). Our friendly team ensures your bike is road-ready, confident that your bike is at its best.

We’ve just spent the day touring the area on Steve’s E-bikes. He delivered them to our doorstep together with helmets, a solid lock and high-viz jackets. We covered 20 incredible miles, but it felt like 5! Such a fun and versatile experience. The bikes were in excellent condition, and are clearly looked after. Steve you are a legend.
Last min decided to see if we could hire 2 bikes for the day so emailed and received reply back from Steve in less than an hour on Friday night with 2 bikes available to collect Saturday AM.
First real ride out on an E-MTB and Steve was fantastic showing us the ropes with the bikes and suggested some great routes including pubs on the way.
Went out of Glenridding along the lake road then left up towards Dockray to pick up the Old Coach Road, the E-Bikes made the clime up the hill almost a pleasure in the 20 degree sunshine. We then continued along the Old coach road which had us grinning from ear to ear with the spectacular vistas ahead and the fast rolling downhill sections, we felt like kids again on a summer adventure.
We soon came to the far end of the gravel track and decided rather than follow the full circular route we would just come back on the same route and stop at the pub on the way at Dockray, well worth the visit and the down hill road section here is great fun.
We rode back into Glenridding after a day of laughs and reliving our youth, dropping the bikes back to Steve who could clearly see from our smiles we had a great time on the bikes, and then headed up the hill for a well earnt Pint and Cumberland sausage in the Travellers Rest.
Big thanks to Steve for looking after us, the only negative from the whole day is I now need to buy an E-MTB so you might be losing a customer but Steve even told us if we do to come speak to him and he will try get us a good deal on a new bike.
Cheers Dude it has finished of our week touring the North with a memory we will never let go.
